Current Book(s) -- On the terminal 100 pages of "Dark Money" past times Jane Mayer (review to come), in addition to trying to create upward one's hear what to read next. I select a lot of similar political-related books inward my To Be Read pile -- exactly I intend perchance something lighter in addition to less depressing would endure a expert idea, lol. ;)
Current Playlist -- While I was visiting my parents, my sis gave me a retention stick/thumb drive/whatever you lot desire to telephone telephone it, containing business office of her vast mp3 collection, acquired during the days of Napster. The files included songs from all the big Canadian stone bands of our day, equally good equally other bands that were inward our childhood/teenaged vinyl collection. I've owned music on vinyl, cassette and, most recently, CDs, exactly this was my showtime foray into digital music (yes, I'm a dinosaur...!). Current Triumphs -- Getting rid of a ton of materials that had been sitting inward a cupboard at my parents' work solid for 30+ years... no modest victory for a self-confessed packrat!
Current Bane of my Existence -- The endless structure on the highway/main route that runs withdraw inward front end of our condo building. :p They are widening the route to conform a novel dedicated rapid charabanc transit lane, which (when built) volition claw upward alongside the novel subway scheme line that's due to opened upward at the cease of this year. I'm sure as shooting it volition endure groovy when it's all done, exactly for now...! Traffic hither is already a nightmare, in addition to this doesn't help. :p

Current Excitement -- Busy weekend ahead! -- barbecue on Saturday; get-together alongside dh's daughter cousins (the ones I went to New York alongside a few years ago) for Lord's Day brunch. And I'm planning a picayune route trip for dh & me, BIL & SIL for the early fall. :)
