We arrived on Th afternoon shortly after 3 p.m. (check inwards time) in addition to found ourselves assigned to the Daisy Room, which was on the soil floor, but off of the front end veranda where breakfast was served each day. The room was smallish but comfortable & nicely furnished. (Most important, perhaps, on a horribly hot & humid day, it was air conditioned!! -- all the rooms are.)
The bath was large amongst a large, newish glassed-in shower cubicle, consummate amongst rainforest shower caput (ahhhh....!!).
And -- bonus!! in that location was a lovely niggling individual screened-in porch for our exclusive use. It reminded me of the (much smaller) screened inwards porch on the side of my grandmother's house, where nosotros used to assemble inwards the even to potable java & socialize amongst visiting relatives in addition to neighbours. I spent a brace of happy hours out in that location (heat & humidity live damned... ) reading in addition to watching the people & traffic become by.
I'd made us an early on dinner reservation at the hotel's well-reviewed restaurant, called the HobNob, which was located inwards the beautiful double drawing room. We also thought virtually going to Niagara Falls, but we've been in that location several times earlier -- it's ever jammed amongst people, parking is horribly expensive, in addition to the conditions forecast was predicting thunderstorms.

I'll acknowledge I haven't genuinely spent much fourth dimension inwards the town itself inwards recent years, but it tends to live on the kitschy/commercial/tourist-trap-ish side. H5N1 lot of my friends amongst children love taking their kids in that location to Great Wolf Lodge, Marine Land, ziplining, the wax museum, etc. (as good every bit the traditional Maid of the Mist boat tours & Table Rock, etc.). There's a casino amongst shows & gambling, if that's your taste.
