Reading: Online materials (of course) -- & a lot of magazines that accept piled upwardly over the past times few months. I want/need to larn a novel mass started soon... but which one?? (Most recent purchase: "The Death of Expertise" past times Tom Nichols.)
Watching: "Designated Survivor" is done for the season, but it volition survive dorsum this fall. It ended alongside a cliffhanger, but non before a rousing feel-good spoken communication past times "designated survivor"-turned-President Tom Kirkman --- Kiefer Sutherland, who seemed to survive channeling his belatedly grandfather, who was quite an orator himself in addition to something of a Canadian hero. ;) We are even hence watching "Genius" on the National Geographic channel, virtually Albert Einstein, which is to a greater extent than lather opera than physics (thankfully for me, lol), but somewhat interesting. And of course, "The Handmaid's Tale" continues to both chill in addition to to fascinate.
This weekend, I promise to survive watching the novel "Wonder Woman" motion painting on the big screen. :) I never watched the Lynda Carter TV serial when I was growing up, in addition to I'm non a comic mass devotee past times whatever means, but I taste a goodness superhero(ine) motion painting forthwith & then. :)
Eating: Our kickoff gelatos of the season, terminal weekend! :)
Drinking: My forenoon tea. :)
Following: The #covfefe kerfuffle on Twitter. ;) Some funny materials in that place (although I recollect its fifteen minutes of fame are almost up).
Wearing: Capris & sandals (yay!!) -- they FINALLY came out of the closet, simply before the Victoria Day long weekend -- but they even hence haven't gotten a lot of habiliment yet, because the conditions lately has been rainy & on the cool side. :( Plus a lot of thunderstorms over the terminal few days. :( (Forecast for the adjacent few days looks good, though!)
Enjoying: Being able to sit down alongside the balcony door opened upwardly ane time to a greater extent than (sometimes fifty-fifty when it's raining, depending on the administration it's coming from).
Admiring: Our novel java tabular array & goal tables, which were delivered before this week. They were custom made to agree the other article of furniture nosotros ordered terminal year, shortly subsequently nosotros moved inwards (a TV stand, circular tabular array & 4 chairs, china cabinet (my favourite!) in addition to narrow bookcase that fits nicely into a corner in addition to holds our CDs in addition to DVDs). The novel tables accept drawers to stash materials inwards in addition to shelves underneath where books & magazines tin survive stowed.
Preparing: To attend SIL's niece's infant shower this weekend. :p I've known the niece since she was born; nosotros attended her parents' wedding, in addition to SIL & both nephews' partners volition survive going, every bit good every bit simply about of dh's aunts & cousins (who are too related to her -- it's complicated...!), hence it's sort of difficult to state no to the invitation.
On the summation side, it's a goodness excuse to larn my kickoff mani-pedi of the season!! ;) That's tomorrow.
