#MicroblogMondays: H5N1 few annoying things

(Taking my cue from a recent #MM postal service past times Mali. ;)  This powerfulness popular off a regular feature...!)
  • Salespeople who stand upwards at 1 terminate of a long counter, absorbed inwards checking something -- land I'm at the caput of the checkout delineate at the other end, waiting for mortal to band inwards my buy (for several minutes) -- in addition to then, when they produce displace me forward, ignore me (except to accept my money) land shouting to 1 of the other shop clerks some distance away land I'm standing there...! 
  • Mommies pushing those huge strollers at the mall, ambling along inwards pairs or groups, ii abreast, chatting in addition to looking at their phones, taking upwards the whole aisle & making it impossible for other people to instruct some them.  
  • Moms who ignore the baby/toddler inwards the stroller who is trying to instruct their attending land they're absorbed inwards checking their phones. 
  • Moms who stand upwards inwards the aisle of the bookstore talking to a friend or checking their telephone -- land their toddler throws a mega-tantrum inwards the side past times side aisle, screaming at the piece of work past times of their lungs -- in addition to ignore the child, letting the tantrum popular off on for a total FIVE MINUTES earlier intervening (hmmm, I feel a topic here...!).  
  • Disorganized bookshelves at the bookstore -- it sometimes looks similar a cyclone went through, especially afterward the weekend. I realize these stores are staffed thinly in addition to staff are stretched... in addition to customers volition accept a mass off the shelf to await at in addition to so shove it dorsum whatever one-time place... simply still...!  I oft pass one-half my fourth dimension at that topographic point reorganizing the shelves in addition to moving books into proper alphabetical social club (does anyone know alphabetical social club these days?? or that books inwards the biography department should live filed according to the get upwards of the dependent area in addition to non the author?? -- it seems not...).  Nothing drives me crazier than seeing 3 copies of  a mass on 1 shelf (and non inwards alphabetical order), in addition to so ii to a greater extent than copies ii shelves downwards (ARRRGGGHHHH....).  Dh says "it's non your job." I said, "Maybe it should be, since nobody else seems to live doing it...!"  lol  (Please tell me I'm non the exclusively 1 who does this...!) 
  • People who leave of absence their cigarette butts on the flooring of our condo's parking garage (particularly since it's a no-smoking zone inwards the kickoff place...!). 
  • People who leave of absence their cars parked inwards a clearly marked no-parking zone correct inwards front end of the supermarket, blocking other cars that are entering & exiting the parking lot ("oh, I'll exclusively live inwards at that topographic point a minute...")(last Lord's Day afternoon at that topographic point were FOUR parked inwards a row!!). 
  • The neighbor somewhere straight inwards a higher house us, who must stimulate got of late bought some plants for their balcony (which is all fine & good) & is a picayune TOO enthusiastic almost watering them well, equally the excess H2O cascades off the border of their balcony & comes splashing onto ours. It's non a really big balcony & 1 of the chairs is e'er getting wet. Fortunately, nobody has been sitting at that topographic point when this has happened (yet...!).

Anniversary getaway: Niagara-on-the-Lake

Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario:  clock/cenotaph in addition to courtroom solid (now a theatre). #MicroblogMondays: Hey 19...

I was never a huge Steely Dan fan, but ane of their quondam songs (" Hey Nineteen ") has been going through my caput today -- because it was 19 years agone that I delivered my sugariness still babe girl. :(   The lyrics aren't just appropriate to the occasion -- they're virtually an older human being trying to resist the charms of a much younger immature lady (!) -- but there's ane business that keeps echoing inwards my head:  "I'm just growing old...."  (The fact that I know who Steely Dan is would attest to that, I suppose -- nevermind that my immature lady could endure 19 years old...!) We just got dorsum from visiting my parents terminal night, as well as I am nevertheless inwards that post-vacation fog. Plus Aunt Flo showed upward after a 69-day recess (progress??!) -- therefore I was already tired as well as crabby, nevermind having to bargain amongst today as well as its significance. Then BIL picked us upward at the aerodrome terminal ...

#MicroblogMondays: Watching The Handmaid's Tale

Like many of you, I'm sure, I've been watching the novel tv set serial " here ).
